In plain English
Inspecting and renewing the parts that stop your car: pads, discs, calipers, fluid, and the ABS system that keeps you steering under hard braking.
Your brakes are your car's first line of defence. Regular inspection and maintenance keep them performing properly and head off brake fade, squealing and pulsation, using quality parts and precise technique.
Booking
Standard booking. Call or WhatsApp to arrange a brake inspection or service, and get your confidence in the pedal back.
New brake disc and caliper fitted to a vehicle hub
Prompt: Photorealistic macro of a freshly fitted brake disc and caliper on a wheel hub, wheel removed, vehicle on a ramp. Crisp metal textures, faint machining marks on the disc face. Cool workshop lighting with a warm rim highlight. Clean and precise, no branding.

What's covered
Everything included
A thorough inspection of brake components for wear, damage or fluid leaks. This is the check that prevents a failure rather than reacting to one.
Worn pads compromise braking performance and lengthen stopping distances. Replacement restores the ability to stop the vehicle effectively.
Discs warp or wear over time, causing vibration, noise and reduced efficiency. Replacement restores smooth braking and prolongs the life of the whole system.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, reducing performance and corroding components from the inside. A flush removes the contaminated fluid and restores reliable braking.
Faulty calipers cause uneven pad wear, brake drag and reduced stopping power. Servicing them promotes even wear and extends brake system life.
Damaged or corroded lines can leak fluid and cause system failure. Inspection and repair keeps the brakes working reliably under demanding conditions.
The anti-lock system prevents wheel lock-up under hard braking. We identify and rectify faults in ABS sensors, modules and hydraulic components so it works when you need it.
A properly adjusted parking brake prevents rollaway and keeps the vehicle secure when parked.
Upgraded pads, discs or calipers can shorten stopping distances, and scheduled maintenance packages keep the system ahead of problems rather than chasing them.
How we do it
What actually happens
No surprises and no jargon. If we find something else while the car is with us, you get a phone call and a price before a spanner goes near it.
Thoroughly inspecting brake components to identify wear, damage or fluid leaks before they cause a failure
Restoring smooth braking action and prolonging the life of the braking system through disc and pad renewal
Removing contaminated fluid so brakes operate smoothly and reliably
Ensuring the ABS system operates correctly in emergency braking situations
Staying ahead of potential issues so brakes remain reliable, efficient and safe for miles to come
Questions
Brakes, answered
Squealing is often the wear indicator doing exactly its job, telling you the pads are near the end of their life. Grinding is more serious. That is usually metal on metal, which damages the discs and costs considerably more to put right. Either way, get it looked at promptly.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air over time. That lowers its boiling point, which reduces braking performance under sustained use, and it corrodes brake components from the inside. A flush replaces the contaminated fluid with fresh.
Not always. If the discs are within specification and not warped or scored, pads alone are fine. If they're warped or worn you'll get vibration and noise, and replacing them restores proper braking. We'll show you what we've found and explain which applies.
It means the anti-lock system has recorded a fault and may not operate in an emergency stop. Your normal brakes usually still work, but the safety net may not be there. We diagnose ABS sensors, modules and hydraulic components to find the cause.
